The European Liver Patients’ Association (ELPA) is excited to host an event on Saturday, 8 June 2024, from 09:00 to 10:00 CEST, at the Leonardo Hotel Milan City Center, in Milan, Italy. This event will bring together 40 patient representatives from 25 countries, along with a distinguished panel of speakers. It promises to be a fantastic opportunity for the patient community to learn about the groundbreaking research and impact of the LEOPARD project while fostering open dialogue between patients and researchers.

This gathering in Milan will be an invaluable platform for patients to engage directly with researchers, ask questions, and share their experiences, ensuring that the patient's voice remains central to ongoing and future research initiatives.

These upcoming events underscore the importance of collaboration between researchers, healthcare professionals, and patients in advancing liver disease research and care. The EASL Congress networking session and the ELPA event in Milan both aim to bridge the gap between scientific research and patient experiences, fostering a more inclusive and impactful approach to tackling liver diseases and transplantation. By bringing together diverse voices and perspectives, these events will undoubtedly contribute to the ongoing efforts to improve outcomes for liver patients across Europe and beyond.
