LEOPARD Project Showcased in London at Major International Liver Transplantation Forum
The LEOPARD project took centre stage this week as Professor Christophe Duvoux presented at a distinguished collaborative session on the future of liver transplantation. The event was jointly organised by the European Society for Organ Transplantation (ESOT), the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL), and the International Liver Transplantation Society (ILTS).
The session, titled “Liver Transplantation in 2025: Challenges and Opportunities,” brought together global leaders in hepatology and transplantation to explore the latest developments, pressing challenges, and emerging opportunities within the field.
In his compelling presentation, “Optimising Outcomes After Liver Transplantation: The Role of AI,” Professor Duvoux shared groundbreaking insights from the LEOPARD project—a forward-thinking initiative dedicated to improving post-transplant outcomes through the application of artificial intelligence. His talk highlighted how advanced AI technologies are being used to support clinical decision-making, personalise patient care, and enhance long-term success rates in liver transplantation.
The LEOPARD project’s prominent feature at this high-profile event underscores its growing importance in the international medical landscape and its potential to drive innovation and transformation in transplant medicine.
